About My Horses

My horses are bred on the principles outlined on this website, and although I am a very small breeder averaging one foal a year I have had great success with these methods, including 3 national champions.

My target sport is 3-day eventing, although several of my youngsters have proved talented as hunters and jumpers, and now a surprise to me a talented gelding I bred for top level eventing is excelling also in dressage.

Another gelding I bred has won the national title in 3-day eventing at both Novice and Training level in 2008 and 2009. And I have two others in training now and am looking forward to their careers.

The above photo is Aqua Tom ridden by his talented owner/trainer/rider Helen Hayn, photo taken by GRC photography on 8/29/09 as the pair were competing at Training level and racking up the points for their 2nd consecutive national title.

Below is the same pair finishing off the 2011 season at Intermediate level, feeling good, sound and sane and looking forward to next year. I couldn't be prouder of both Helen and Tom, what a great team!
